Hi! I’m Angelica!
I am a content creator, visual storyteller and a Washington, D.C.-based Lifestyle Blogger and Travel Influencer. I am currently the editor-in-chief of ClarendonMoms.com and AngelicaInTheCity.com. I started each blog as a way to inspire connections. I believe my purpose here in life is to be a true connector and I’ve my discovered that my place on social media to be the best avenue to live in my purpose.
The mission of AngelicaTalan.com is to house all of my writings and musings under one official umbrella. I want to introduce and connect you to the best resources, luxury brands, high quality products, and reputable services available to us locally, domestically and internationally. Each of my blogs has consistently grown into websites that not only connect people to the best brands and services but also to each other thru networking events (including virtual events). This website is dedicated to helping others save time while discovering new and exciting things to help you in your day-to-day life, as well as while you’re traveling. There are tips on everything ranging from style & fashion, to the best places to travel with your family, to the hottest fitness craze, to the trendiest new restaurants for date night, to the coolest events in the DC area, and more. I am all about helping others while making long life connections.
My goal is to positively encourage, educate, and inspire all women across the globe through my own personal style, tried and tested travel secrets, and beauty and fitness tips. I am proud to be considered one of Washington, D.C.’s Top Lifestyle and Travel Influencers and I will do my best to continue to use my platform for good and to empower women of all ages all over the world.
Prior to becoming a social media influencer, I was a commercial and print model appearing on over 100 national advertisements. I was also a local television actress appearing in over a dozen national television commercials and several reality shows. I also had a few small speaking roles in major motion films including “Step Up” with Channing Tatum, “Talk To Me” with Don Cheadle and “The Replacements” with Keanu Reeves.
Outside of this amazing digital space, in my spare time, I enjoy spending time and connecting with my family, fly-fishing with my children Ella & Logan and dancing to all types of music (but my fave is Latino Dance Music). I love spending time outdoors hiking, biking and exploring. I also enjoy cooking, volunteering to help others and oysters, tuna tartare and seafood are my favorite foods to treat myself and my family.
